Jacques and Florence Borel, Proprietors of Chateau de Chelivette
Welcome to the US web home for Château de Chelivette! The vineyard has a history dating back to the 15th century when the first chateau was built on the site where the winemaking cellars are now located. Jacques and Florence Borel, a French couple who had been working in “the City” in London, purchased the property in 2014 and have embarked upon a mission to produce top-quality wines at reasonable prices.
Their principles are simple: organic, biologic and biodynamic production techniques, strictly adhered to, will produce superior wines. Anyone sampling the wines can attest that these goals are being achieved! They have already won several awards, including a Bronze medal at the Los Angeles Wine Competition in 2018.
Currently, Chelivette wines are available from the Chateau website, however, our goal is to bring them to the US marketplace in quantity.
